Wood Cottage is based in the seaside town of Girvan, minutes from  Turnberry golf course. With miles of sandy beaches and the harbour just a  stones throw away, it makes an ideal getaway from walking to adventure holidays.

Our cottage has been equipped with all necessary amenities. The cosy living room has a log burning fire as well as central heating to ensure the stay is as comfortable as  possible.

All rooms have a TV and free WiFi and the kitchen has plenty of space and equipment to cook up a storm.

The full cottage is available for guests use including the garden and conservatory

Wood Cottage is a beautiful 19th century Cottage built in 1800s, located on the South Coast of Ayrshire, It is truly a little gem!

Wood Cottage has been lovingly restored to accommodate six guests. The cottage has three bedrooms, a large open plan living room/kitchen with a cosy log burner.

The ground floor has a single bedroom next to the shower room, with two further double bedrooms upstairs.

Outside there is a fully enclosed garden, perfect for relaxing in.

Wood Cottage is the perfect base to explore this beautiful part of Ayrshire

Local Area
We have plenty of small local shops in the area including a  supermarket. There are a lot of small pubs with plenty of atmosphere in  the local area. Some hidden gems to eat in are minutes stroll along the  beach front.

Getting Around
 There are numerous buses that travel South to Stranraer/Dumfries or North to Ayrshire. The train  station is on the mainline down the coast and also leads back up to  Glasgow and is minutes from the cottage

Other things to note
  Local excursions include hill walking, fishing trips and regular boat  trips to the famous 'Paddy's Milestone' Ailsa Craig. Kids park, pedalo rides and amusements are only a short walk away.
